ORDER CHANGES AND RETURN

RETURN & EXCHANGES

If you are not completely satisfied with our products, you may return them for a refund or exchange subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. All returns must be accompanied by a valid Return Authorization Number (RA#). Email us at sales@nordicshells.com to obtain an RA#. Please be ready to provide an order or invoice number.

  2. All RA#'s must be issued within fourteen (14) days of receiving the product. If there is a problem with your order, please do not delay in contacting us.

  3. Your Return Authorization will expire 15 business days after the date of issue.

  4. RA#'s must be written on the outside of the return packaging. Returns that do not clearly display an RA# on the outside of the packaging will be refused.

  5. All returned products must be in "as received" condition and unaltered in any way. Do not alter the product in any way until you have thoroughly inspected it for accuracy. Products that have been damaged or altered in any way will not be accepted for return. If any signs of alteration are found the item will not be eligible for return. 

  6. Product must be packaged securely and with sufficient protection (as originally packed) to avoid damage in transit. If returned product shows evidence of damage from misuse, improper handling or insufficient packaging, it will not be eligible for refund or exchange.

  7. We do not refund original shipping charges, return shipping charges or Customs Taxes, VAT or Duties.

  8. Refunds will be issued by the original method of payment. Credit Card refunds must be made to the exact credit card(s) used in the original sale.

  9. No returns on custom orders.

RETURN TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Refunds are limited to the price of the item(s) only. All other products, services and/or shipping charges on any order are excluded.
  • Any modification to a product will void this return
  • Excessive wear or damage will void this return, including any damage that occurs in return shipping due to improper packing.

We often get order edit requests immediately after an order has been placed from the online store. Please be mindful of the policies listed below.


CURRENT LEAD TIMES
We do our best to ship orders within the time frames listed below. We will contact you if your order is significantly delayed for any reason. Otherwise, your patience is greatly appreciated. We will ship your entire order together once all items have been completed.

  • Maple Products: 2-5 business days
  • Maple Products with Services: 5-10 business days
  • All other True, Heritage & Signature Series Products: 5-10 business days
  • All other True, Heritage & Signature Series Products with services: 10-15 business days
  • Custom Order Products: 7-9 weeks
  • Custom Order Products with Services: 8-10 weeks


We exclusively use FedEx for all shipments, domestic and international.


NO COMBINED SHIPMENTS
Every order you place will be shipped separately. If you wish to keep shipping charges to a minimum, you must make sure all the items you want are in a single order when you place it.

NO SPLIT SHIPMENTS
Every order will be shipped out in its entirety when all items are complete. We will not ship a partial order. If you would like in-stock items to ship before custom items, or looking to send some items to a different location, you must place them on separate orders.

ORDER CHANGES
Order changes will delay your order. If you want the quickest turnaround time you must make sure that your order is correct when you place it. If you do require a change, contact us within 24 hours of placing the order by replying to your order confirmation email and describing the requested change in detail. You can also send an email to sales@nordicshells.com and include your order number and a detailed description of your change request. We make your order from scratch, by hand, so once your order has been accepted and in process it can no longer be changed.


CANCELLATIONS
If you need to cancel all or part of your order, contact us within 24 hours of placing the order by replying to your order confirmation email with your request for cancellation. We make your order from scratch, by hand, so once your order has been accepted and in process it can no longer be canceled. No cancellation charge will apply within the 24 hour window.

REFUNDS
Subject to a 25% Restock charge on the purchase price of the item.

Refunds will be issued by the original method of payment. Credit Card refunds must be made to the exact credit card(s) used in the original sale.  Refunds may take up to 7 days to to transfer funds back to your account once they have been processed.

 

 

QUALITY SHOULD BE A PRIORITY, NOT AN AFTERTHOUGHT
Before any shell leaves our shop, we conduct a rigorous Quality Assurance review. Each shell is thoroughly inspected and guaranteed free of flaws, imperfections and mistakes.

This approach ensures we can stand behind everything we produce and offer a 100% guarantee on the integrity of our drum shells. If you are not satisfied with our product, you can return it within 14 days.

WE GUARANTEE OUR PRODUCTS TO BE FREE OF:

  • Delamination or separation of plys
  • Buckling or bubbling of shell
  • Flat spots

GAP TOLERANCES

  • .005” or less on outside face
  • .010” or less on inside face
  • .3mm or less in core layers

ROUNDNESS

  • No flat spots on any shell
  • 5/32” variance or less on 14” and smaller shells
  • 3/16” variance or less on 16” - 22” shells
  • 1/4” variance or less on 24” and 26” shells 

It is important to note that rarely will a shell of any size be “perfectly” round, the vast majority of Nordic shells and hoops are within 1/16” or less.

An unfinished 6 ply shell larger than 20” may develop slight movement from tension over time due to their inherent lack of structural integrity being such a thin shell made from a natural product. Conditions like humidity and temperature may affect roundness as well.

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, and you haven't altered the shell at all (cutting, sanding or any kind of finishing), you can return them within 14 days of purchase date for a full refund. Refunds will be processed once the product has been returned to Nordic. Refunds may take up to 7 days to to transfer funds back to your account once they have been processed.
